My two cents: I rode with you up to Anacortes for the show at The Department of Safety. I think Crystal Skulls was the opener. We stopped at a new (to the area) Krispy Kreme on the way back to Seattle. The drive-through was open, but the seating section was not. Jason from Hint Hint had to pee, so he went outside. Once he finished doing his business, he walked over and started picking through the box of donuts with his d*ck hands.
We were together at Sasquatch Festival once, and it was after you and the band parted ways. You had a couple of acts playing, and TV on the Radio was also on the bill. We ran into TV on the Radio's tour manager (Matt Littlejohn?), and he asked what you were doing at the festival. Um, what?
Got in a weird maybe similar place this year (and some of last) where I quit drinking caffeine because (lot of reasons). I usually write every morning for like three or four hours into the afternoon and was suddenly writing every night instead for the first time in my life for (other unrelated reasons). I swapped caffeine for whiskey because I just couldn’t get to that gauzy little place I needed to in order to feel the story again. Took a big mug with four shots to get there and it was… every damn night and that wasn’t great. Switched back to caffeine and mornings a few weeks ago and it’s ugh so much better.
